Award Winning Artisan Gelato makers La Gelatiera chose Rockstar to create their website. “Mouth-watering inspiration” doesn’t even begin to describe what it was like working on this project.

La Gelatiera is home to London’s finest artisan gelato. The unsurpassed quality of their gelato is a result of carefully chosen ingredients, genuine craftsmanship, and the science and creativity of maestro and co-owner Antonio. To ensure freshness and quality, the gelato is made fresh daily on the premises, in small batches.

The Slow-Food philosophy is at the heart of what they do. They only use the best seasonal ingredients to create unique flavours of gelati and sorbets never tasted before in London. Their gelato is 100% natural, free from any additives or preservatives, packed with flavour and low in fat.

LG are young, modern passionate gelato lovers, inspired by bringing a modern Slow Food twist to their family heritage of artisan gelato-making. They hand-make everything fresh daily using the best seasonal ingredients and organic dairy produce.

For Antonio the maestro, it all began when he was a boy living in Calabria in southern Italy. His grandfather was a gelato maker before him, and he is tremendously excited to carry on the family tradition at La Gelatiera.

The name La Gelatiera refers to the traditional gelato churn used originally by artisans to make gelato. They chose it because they are passionate about the craft involved with making the best gelato. Be sure to visit our laboratory inside their shop to see la gelatiera in use.

La Gelatiera have recently been voted “Best ice cream parlour in London” by leading Italian newspaper La Reppublica (June 2016).
